JoJo, What's for Dinner?

After a long day of learning and playing, my stomach starts to growl.

When mommy appears at school, I am so happy and proud.

On our way home she asks, "JoJo, what did you learn?"

"Mommy, I learned my ABC’s"

But the best question of all that Mommy asks, “Now what do you want to eat?"

I look to the left

I look to the right

put my hands in the air

and sing with all my might

Macaroni and fries, chicken and rice, ice cream and donuts

"Hey! That's not dinner!" says Mommy.

salad and noodles, broccoli and cheese, chips and bananas, so many things.

When we finally arrive at home, the smell of food filled the air.

I rushed to the table to see my colorful plate

Wow! All my favorites it's my lucky day!

But first, I must wash my hands!

While I scrubbed, I singed “I love potatoes, I love broccoli, I love shrimp, and mommy I love you.”

I love you JoJo, now go eat your food.
